Heim Global Investor and McLaren Living are set to deliver Oasis, a 456-home Build-to-Rent development located on Kent Street Birmingham, an area benefitting from significant regeneration.
McLaren Living, the residential developer with a focus on build-to-rent and co-living, and Heim Global Investor (Heim), the residential specialist investment manager, are announcing their second partnership.
Known as Oasis, the Birmingham development is located on Kent Street, an area that is undergoing significant regeneration. The £130m investment is being forward funded by Heim, with McLaren Living acting as the developer, and Winvic as contractor.
Heim and McLaren Living first partnered on Water Lane in the South Bank regeneration area of Leeds, where the 375-home Build-to-Rent development is now mid-construction and due to complete in 2027.
Oasis, the second development to be delivered by the duo, is centrally located and isclose to key cultural and social hubs within Birmingham in an area becoming increasingly established as a desirable residential location within the city centre.
The new 456-home development will consist of one- and two-bedroom homes within an 11-storeybuilding, along with a gym, residents’ lounge, and co-working space while external amenity includes a landscaped resident courtyard and terraces.
The development will deliver to Heim’s market leading sustainability standards, with their UK Residential Fund recently being awarded a 5-star GRESB rating.

Oasis is expected to complete in 2029.
